Responsibilities

- Provide personal hygiene assistance for seniors or clients recovering from surgery, injuries, or illness (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating)
- Assist with mobility inside and outside the home (walks, appointments, outings), transfers, and safe ambulation.




- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean environment.
- Monitor and report changes in health or behavior and respond responsibly in emergencies.
- Remind clients to take prescribed medications
- Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care.
- Assist with personal care and daily routines.
- Plan and prepare meals.
- Complete grocery shopping or accompany clients as needed
- Support daily living activities, including meal assistance and related tasks

Qualifications

- Enjoy working in a one‑on‑one care setting and committed to continuous learning
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Able to perform all essential job functions
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation every day
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and professionalism
- Consistent weekly availability for the same shifts
- Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in‑home care
- Willingness to follow health and safety standards
- Supportive, dependable, and committed to high‑quality care
- Clear criminal background check
