Position Overview

We are seeking a certified wellness professional with valid credentials in a relevant field related to one or more of the six pillars of lifestyle medicine.

We welcome professionals from a variety of backgrounds who are interested in contributing their expertise to a collaborative wellness environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive health, lifestyle education, client-centred care, and helping individuals build sustainable, healthy habits.

Areas of Practice

We welcome qualified professionals working in any of the following areas:

- Nutrition and Healthy Eating: Registered dietitians, qualified nutrition professionals, and related practitioners.
- Physical Activity and Exercise: Certified fitness professionals, exercise specialists, and movement practitioners.
- Sleep Health: Qualified sleep health professionals and practitioners with relevant credentials.




- Mental and Emotional Well-being: Registered counsellors, psychologists, and other appropriately credentialed mental health professionals.
- Social Connection and Community Well-being: Qualified wellness educators, community wellness practitioners, and professionals supporting social health.
- Stress Management and Resilience: Certified stress management practitioners, mindfulness instructors, and other appropriately qualified professionals.

We may also consider other wellness-related professions if their qualifications align with our holistic approach.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide services, education, or wellness support within your professional scope of practice.
- Help clients develop practical and sustainable healthy lifestyle habits.
- Support preventive health and overall well-being through evidence-informed approaches.
- Collaborate with other wellness and healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Maintain professional standards, accurate documentation, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary environment focused on improving client outcomes.
- Contribute to wellness initiatives and community health education where applicable.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Valid certification,



registration, or professional credentials relevant to your field.
- Education or experience related to one or more of the six pillars of lifestyle medicine.
- A client-centred, compassionate, and collaborative approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to evidence-informed practice and ongoing professional development.
- Eligibility to practise in Alberta, where required for your profession.
- Professional liability insurance and any applicable screening or regulatory requirements, as relevant to the role.
