Lead forestry operations for Weyerhaeuser in Kenora, Ontario, applying safety standards and fibre supply planning across contractor activities.

As an experienced Operations Forester, you will report to the General Manager and work with the Ontario Timberlands Team. The work supports wood supply for the Kenora Laminated Strand Lumber Mill and external mill customers. Your responsibilities span planning, road construction, harvesting, hauling, fibre purchasing, and sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and audit contractor safety standards
- Implement the Integrated Fibre Supply Plan
- Address cost and inventory target gaps
- Negotiate and secure private purchase wood
- Review supplier safety and delivery performance monthly

Requirements:

- Robust safety and environmental values
- Operational forestry skills are desirable
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Forestry degree or suitable education and experience
- Communication skills for diverse suppliers
