AdvanTec Marine seeks a shop floor leader for carbon steel doors and hatches serving icebreakers, naval and military vessels. You will guide welder fabricators and a millwright while coordinating engineering, purchasing, and sales. The work connects detailed drawings, production priorities, quality, and project growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead daily shop floor activities and developing fabrication crews
- Coordinate priorities with engineering, purchasing, and sales
- Review drawings and resolve issues with engineering
- Monitor shop efficiency, quality, and performance indicators
- Support bids by estimating fabrication hours

Requirements:

- Robust fabrication background with five years minimum experience
- Red Seal fabricator preferred; equivalent proven skill considered
- Previous shop floor team leadership experience
- Strong communication, drawing, and detail skills
- Ability to pass RCMP fingerprinting with clean criminal record
