Big O Tires Victoria, a locally owned and operated tire and auto repair franchise, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our dynamic team in the heart of Downtown Victoria. With over 20 years of being voted the City's Best, we pride ourselves on delivering 5-star service and high-quality automotive care.

Position Overview:

We have an opening for a key individual to take on the role of Service Advisor. This extremely fast-paced permanent, full-time position is perfect for those with a strong background in the automotive repair industry and a passion for sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure all vehicles progress through the shop efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Handle calls regarding booking appointments, technical and service-related inquiries.
- Listen attentively to customers’ accounts of issues to diagnose problems accurately.
- Maintain shop organization by managing inventory, cleaning, and organizing the workspace.
- Clearly explain the service process to clients, detailing what to expect.
- Prepare work orders for technicians and manage invoicing for customers.
- Strong sales experience with tire/wheel and accessories.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Previous sales experience in mechanical estimating, parts ordering, job scheduling,



and employee time management.
- Familiarity with Costar point of sale system.
- Proficient in computer software for estimating and scheduling.

Requirements & Traits:

- Strong automotive workshop process and product knowledge. Including wheels and tires knowledge.
- Excel in a very quick paced environment.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Honest, professional, and a strong team player.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in inventory management and lead generation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Personable and presentable, driven to provide the highest level of customer service.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
