Lead railway signals and communications work with REMCAN Projects LP across Canada. Coordinate crews, safety briefings, installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on rotational assignments.

REMCAN seeks full time Signals and Communications Foremen for projects throughout Canada. You will organize daily work with assigned Maintainers and Apprentices while supporting project-site operations. The position covers signaling and communications equipment, emergencies, track outages, documentation, scheduling, and resource coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct safety briefings and participate actively in safety activities
- Coordinate S&C; maintenance and installation activities at project sites
- Schedule track work with field operations leadership
- Order materials, machinery, tools,



and necessary resources
- Instruct crews on repairs, installations, safety rules, and procedures

Requirements:

- Three to five years of rail S&C; operations experience
- Previous leadership experience and Maintainer qualification
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic inventory management proficiency
- Valid Class 5 or Class G license and reliable transportation
- Availability for rotational shifts, remote locations, and varied weather
