Lead construction safety programs as Cutting Edge Consulting’s Health and Safety Manager, applying WorkSafeBC knowledge and ISO 45001 expertise in person.

This manager administers the company safety management system across industrial construction and crane services projects. The position reports to the Director, HSE & Risk Compliance and leads safety initiatives across British Columbia, Alberta, and Yukon. Responsibilities include field inspections, audits, incident investigations, training, documentation, and compliance oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and maintain company health and safety programs
- Conduct site visits, inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
- Lead incident and near-miss investigations




- Maintain ISO 45001 documentation and corrective actions
- Supervise and coach Safety Coordinators

Requirements:

- Minimum five years of progressive construction safety experience
- Experience in construction, crane, transportation, or industrial environments
- Robust knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and COR requirements
- Effective leadership and coaching skills
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
