Integrated Health Nurse Manager (RPN)

Location: Hamilton, Ontario | Pay: $35/hour

Role Summary

Reporting to senior leadership, the Integrated Health Nurse Manager leads clinical and operational performance across assigned residential programs supporting individuals with complex health and behavioural needs. You are accountable for service quality, regulatory compliance, and the development of frontline teams.

Key Accountabilities

Operational Leadership

- Direct daily operations across multiple homes, including staffing coverage, scheduling, and program organization
- Manage home-level financial controls: approve timecards, process invoices, and oversee purchasing and account accuracy
- Lead the response to urgent operational and health-related situations, including on-call rotation and escalation

Clinical Practice & Quality

- Ensure implementation of health support plans, medication protocols, controlled acts, and least-restraint practices
- Set and uphold medication management and documentation standards; escalate complex or high-risk matters to nursing leadership
- Lead hospital discharge and return-to-home transitions
- Drive compliance with QAM, health and safety requirements, and legislation; lead audit readiness and corrective action plans
- Ensure suspected abuse, neglect,



and safety concerns are identified and reported per legislation and policy

People Leadership

- Supervise, coach, and develop Support Workers; lead onboarding and ongoing practice training, including Controlled Acts and N95 Fit Testing where qualified
- Lead performance management, attendance support, and conflict resolution
- Partner with People & Culture on return-to-work planning (WSIB) and workplace investigations

Stakeholder Partnership

- Build and maintain relationships with families, healthcare providers, community partners, and funders
- Represent the organization on committees and in cross-functional initiatives

Qualifications

- Current CNO registration (RPN) in good standing
- 3-5 years supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and complex health or behavioural needs
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience with medication administration, delegated acts, and specialized health supports

Working Conditions

- Regular travel between Hamilton sites; regular in office presence required
- Rotational on-call, with occasional evenings and weekends

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Experience:

- Supervising and leadership: 2 years (required)
- dealing with individuals with complex needs: 4 years (required)
