We're seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver for a 95-year-old woman living independently in her home in Pembroke, Ontario. She values her independence and is determined to continue living in her own home safely. The primary concern is navigating stairs to access the basement laundry, which has become a safety hazard. She also has a friendly dog in the home.

About the Client: She is 95 years old, living independently in her own home, and has never received professional care before. She is open to receiving help and understands that additional support will enable her to continue living safely at home. She has family nearby who are actively involved in her care. The home includes a friendly dog.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with laundry, including safely navigating basement stairs
- Light housekeeping and kitchen cleanup after lunch
- Provide companionship and social engagement
- Support with daily activities to maintain independence and safety in the home
- Monitor safety, particularly around stairs and mobility

What We're Looking For:

- Experience working with seniors who value their independence

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (3 hours per shift, 9 hours per week). This is a long-term position with a three-month initial commitment. The first two visits are considered trial visits to ensure a good fit for both the caregiver and the family.
