Job Description – Meat Section Merchandiser

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Requirements: Previous merchandising experience is mandatory. Applicants must be available to work full-time.

Responsibilities

- Arrange and display meat products neatly and attractively in display cases.
- Ensure meat products are properly labelled with prices and product information.
- Monitor stock levels, rotate products using FIFO procedures, and check expiry dates.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the meat section.
- Coordinate with the purchasing and sales teams to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor product presentation and identify opportunities to improve sales.




- Ensure proper storage and handling of meat products according to company standards.

Skills and Requirements

- Previous merchandising experience is required, preferably in a meat or fresh food section.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of stock rotation, product displays, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail workplace.
- Must be available for full-time, permanent employment.

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.50-$20.50 per hour
