The Advanced Analytics and AI team applies predictive science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence across CIBC. As a student on the Applied Research team, you will work across the research life cycle, from academic partnerships to production systems. You will collaborate with product, technology, and business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate innovative quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Implement quantum or quantum inspired algorithms
- Apply quantum optimization and machine learning techniques
- Test approaches involving graph theory and computational complexity




- Support quantum solution development and deployment

Requirements:

- Pursuing Quantum Information, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related degree
- Understanding of quantum computing concepts and artificial intelligence advances
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and PennyLane
- Solid presentation, writing, and communication skills
- Currently enrolled and returning to full time studies
