Support Bear Creek Cogeneration Plant operations in Grand Prairie, Alberta, using plant monitoring and maintenance expertise. Work jointly with the Site Host to maintain reliable facility performance.

TC Energy seeks an Operations and Maintenance Site Technician reporting to the Manager, Cogeneration and Storage—Power & Energy Solutions. The position supports routine operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, outage planning, and plant improvements. Experience with cogeneration equipment, SAP, industrial controls, and gas turbines is relevant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor routine cogeneration plant operations and maintenance activities
- Review operating data and identify production or environmental risks
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, troubleshooting, repairs, and gas turbine support




- Create SAP notifications and work orders; verify completed maintenance
- Coordinate outages, testing, budgets, records, and plant modifications

Requirements:

- Relevant Red Seal trade certification or Power Engineering diploma
- Five years of power plant or process operations experience
- Industrial DCS or PLC experience preferred
- Experience with gas turbines, HRSGs, contractors, or SAP preferred
- Valid driver’s license, medical clearance, and after-hours availability
