Shipper/Receiver

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and someone who takes pride in knowing that the right material is in the right place at the right time?

If you like taking ownership of your work and being part of the team that keeps the shop moving, this could be a great fit. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be picking, handling, organizing, and moving materials throughout the shop, not just loading and unloading trucks. This position will be based out of our NE Calgary shop, but we operate as one team across our locations, with travel to our Balzac shop as needed.

The Opportunity

As our Shipper/Receiver, you’ll play an important role in the flow of materials through our operation. Reporting to the Shipping/Receiving Lead, you’ll be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing the materials our teams need to keep projects moving. You’ll work closely with Procurement, QC, and our shop floor to make sure incoming materials are properly received, documented, stored, and available when they're needed.

What You’ll Achieve

Within your first 6 months, you will:

- Become a dependable resource for the accurate movement and tracking of materials.
- Help identify opportunities to make shipping and receiving processes more efficient.
- Support effective inventory tracking and auditing to reduce discrepancies.
- Contribute to a safe, organized warehouse and material-handling environment.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

- 2+ years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience.
- 2+ years of forklift experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to maintain accurate receiving and material records.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple teams.
- Ability to lift and move materials and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Experience working with ERP systems is an asset.
- Oil and gas experience is an asset.
