Acute care nursing and emergency stabilization define this Registered Nurse position at Dawson City Community Hospital, with a rotational schedule.

Reporting to the Operations Leader, the Registered Nurse administers medical and therapeutic programs and develops individualized nursing care plans. The position provides inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care while supporting patients, families, and the unit. Health education, treatment services, and clinical teaching are also part of the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer physician-ordered medical and therapeutic programs
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Provide emergency stabilization for trauma and critically ill patients
- Deliver inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patient care

Requirements:

- Diploma or baccalaureate degree in Nursing
- Two to three years of acute care nursing experience
- Current registration with Yukon Registered Nurses Association
- Current CPR certification and valid Yukon Driver’s License
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate
