Apply analytical chemistry and water testing skills as a full time Laboratory Technician with CSA Group’s Water Quality team in Toronto, Ontario.

This Laboratory Technician role supports internal project delivery through hands-on testing and technical documentation. You will operate test equipment, conduct routine tests, and work with documented procedures. The position develops project management and technical skills while supporting potable water plumbing product certification.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up equipment and perform routine product-area tests
- Prepare reagents, samples, calculations, and technical documents
- Record discrepancies and summarize test results
- Maintain equipment, supplies, chemicals, and work areas




- Assist with complex tests under senior staff guidance

Requirements:

- University degree in physical sciences or three-year engineering technician qualification
- At least one year in environmental or water testing laboratory
- Mandatory analytical and inorganic chemistry knowledge
- Operational knowledge of UV-Vis, X-ray fluorescence, OES, and ICP-MS
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
