Job Summary

2 days need :Thursday evening aprox 4-9 and Friday evening aprox 3-8.

- We are seeking a dependable Prep Cook to support daily kitchen operations and help deliver fresh, consistent meals.
- This role focuses on food preparation, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen while following food safety and food handling standards.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and food service staff to keep service running smoothly.

Duties

- Wash, peel, chop, portion, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen needs.
- Assist with cooking and assembling menu items while following established preparation procedures.
- Keep food preparation areas, utensils, and equipment clean and organized.
- Store, label, and rotate ingredients properly to support safe food handling and reduce waste.
- Follow food safety practices, including proper hygiene and safe handling of ingredients.




- Coordinate with kitchen staff to prepare items in time for service.
- Assist with serving or other food service tasks as needed.
- Report low supplies, equipment concerns, or food quality issues to the appropriate team member.

Experience

- Previous food preparation, kitchen, restaurant, or food service experience is helpful but not required.
- Experience in the food industry, cooking, meal preparation, serving, or food handling is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently, and maintain attention to detail in a busy kitchen.
- Commitment to cleanliness, teamwork, and food safety.
- Willingness to learn kitchen procedures and contribute to a positive, organized work setting.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 per week
