Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Furniture Appliance Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting furniture and appliances to customers' locations, ensuring timely delivery, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, warehouse operations, and commercial driving, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Weekends and Stat holidays off. Benefits after 90 days.

Duties

- Driving to different towns around Edmonton on a daily basis
- Safely operate delivery trucks to transport furniture and appliances to residential or commercial locations
- Load and unload items using appropriate moving equipment such as dollies
- Assist customers with the placement and setup of delivered items, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure safety and proper functioning
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation




- Follow safety protocols during all phases of the delivery process to prevent accidents or damage

Qualifications

- Prior experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 100 pounds)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is advantageous
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Current drivers abstract
- Criminal background check

This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, customer satisfaction, and professionalism are prioritized.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 55.0 per week
