Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter/Drywaller to complete painting, drywall, and related repair work on a residentialproject. The ideal candidate has construction experience, works safely and efficiently, and takes pride in delivering clean, high-quality results. This role involves working with customers and team members to understand project needs, prepare work areas, and complete assignments on schedule.

Duties

- Prepare surfaces and work areas by cleaning, sanding, masking, patching, and protecting surrounding spaces.
- Install, repair, and finish drywall, including measuring, cutting, hanging, taping, mudding, and sanding.
- Perform residential painting, commercial painting, and industrial painting using appropriate materials and application methods.
- Complete restoration work, including repairing surfaces affected by damage and preparing them for finishing.
- Apply caulking and perform basic carpentry and related repairs as needed.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively; assist with rigging or moving materials when required.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project instructions to determine dimensions, materials, and work sequences.




- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow applicable safety procedures.
- Communicate project progress, site needs, and potential issues to supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
- Provide professional customer service and help ensure completed work meets project specifications.

Requirements

- Construction experience, with practical knowledge of drywall and painting methods.
- Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial painting; restoration experience is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics; familiarity with rigging is an advantage.
- Basic carpentry and caulking skills are preferred.
- Strong communication skills, customer service, and time management.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to protected work practices and quality workmanship.

Pay: $23.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
