As we prepare to launch in the city, we’re looking to build a team of outgoing, enthusiastic Event Hosts who can help bring our dating events to life.

Position Summary:

As an Event Host, you’ll be the face of Flare Events on-site and responsible for helping create a welcoming, organized, and enjoyable experience for our guests.

You’ll work with our Events team to facilitate and execute events throughout Kitchener-Waterloo, including:

- Setting up the event space before guests arrive
- Welcoming guests and managing event check-in
- Explaining the event format and digital scorecard process
- Facilitating icebreaker activities and speed dating rotations
- Answering guest questions and providing support throughout the event
- Distributing Flare promotional items where applicable
- Completing event wrap-up and tear-down tasks
- Communicating with the Flare Events team regarding any issues or updates during the event

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic




- Comfortable speaking to and leading groups
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Organized and able to think on their feet
- Strong communicators
- Comfortable creating a welcoming environment for a wide range of guests
- Available for evening and/or weekend events

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $33.00 per hour

- Kitchener-Waterloo, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
