Take the Lead in a Growing Specialty Construction Company

Marr Industrial Coatings is looking for an experienced, motivated Construction Field Superintendent to oversee our field crews and manage day-to-day installations throughout Winnipeg and surrounding areas.

We specialize in industrial and commercial concrete flooring systems, including epoxy coatings, polished concrete, concrete restoration, urethane cement, waterproofing, and specialty coatings.

We're looking for someone who knows how to run crews, organize jobsites, solve problems, and keep production moving.

Experience in our specific flooring systems is an asset, but not necessarily required. We encourage experienced supervisors from concrete, asphalt, commercial construction, waterproofing, flooring, and other related trades to apply.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional working foreman position.

You'll be responsible for coordinating multiple crews and projects, travelling between jobsites, ensuring installations are properly prepared, and helping our team perform at its best.

You'll work closely with our Operations Manager while having the independence to make day-to-day field decisions.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being in the field, takes pride in solving problems, and can lead a team without needing constant direction.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and oversee multiple installation crews across active jobsites.
- Organize jobsite mobilization, including manpower, equipment, materials, and site preparation.
- Visit active projects to monitor productivity, installation quality, and safety.




- Identify potential problems and implement practical solutions before they affect production.
- Work with the Operations Manager to plan upcoming projects and allocate field resources.
- Provide technical and practical guidance to installers, including hands-on assistance when required.
- Develop and mentor crew members into future leadership positions.
- Maintain strong communication between field crews, management, and customers.

What We're Looking For

- Demonstrated experience supervising construction crews, ideally in concrete, asphalt, commercial flooring, restoration, or related trades.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Practical construction knowledge and confidence troubleshooting field issues.
- Experience coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials across multiple projects.
- The ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and make sound decisions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A hands-on attitude when the situation requires it.
- A valid driver's licence and ability to travel between jobsites.

Direct experience with epoxy flooring, concrete polishing, or industrial coatings is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
