About the Role

Our client, a dynamic media production company with a diverse portfolio of projects, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Post-Production Supervisor to manage their post-production workflows in Kimberley, Northern Cape . This key role involves overseeing all aspects of post-production, from editorial and sound mixing to color grading and final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. This Hybrid position offers a blend of in-office presence for critical collaborations and remote flexibility for operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the post-production process, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the entire post-production pipeline for various media projects, including film, television, and digital content.
- Manage post-production schedules, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
- Coordinate and liaise with editors, sound designers, colorists, and other post-production specialists.
- Ensure all deliverables meet client specifications and technical requirements for broadcast or distribution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the post-production process.
- Implement and maintain efficient workflows and best practices.
- Manage media assets and ensure proper archiving and organization.
- Communicate project status and updates to internal teams and external clients.




- Stay current with advancements in post-production technology and techniques.

Requirements

- A minimum of 6 years of experience in post-production, with a proven track record in a supervisory or management role.
- Extensive knowledge of the post-production process, including editing, sound mixing, color grading, and mastering.
- Proficiency with industry-standard post-production software and workflows.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, essential for managing teams in Kimberley and remotely.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with different media formats and delivery standards.
- A Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A detail-oriented approach and a commitment to quality.
