What would you build if you had the space to do it?

The Forum is looking for an independent contractor, entrepreneur or existing business who wants to take the lead on building and growing obstacle + adventure programming within our space.

We already have the space and a pretty great collection of equipment: warped wall, salmon ladder, climbing wall, ropes, aerial rigging and other movement and obstacle equipment.

What we're looking for is the right person to do something with it.

Ninja. OCR. Climbing. Kids programs. Adult training. Camps. Competitions. Open gyms. Specialty workshops.

Maybe something we haven't thought of yet.

This isn't a traditional coaching job.

We're not looking for an employee to show up and teach a program we've already created.

We're looking for someone who wants the opportunity to build the program, grow the community and make it their own.

You might already be an independent coach or trainer. You might own a fitness, recreation or movement business and be looking for somewhere to expand. Or you might have the experience and ideas but haven't had the space or opportunity to build something of your own yet.

Your background might be in obstacle course racing, ninja, parkour, climbing, gymnastics, calisthenics, fitness, recreation, athletic development or coaching.

More than anything,



we're looking for someone who sees the potential and wants to run with it.

What could you build?

Depending on your experience and interests, that could include youth obstacle programming, adult OCR or ninja training, climbing and rope skills, camps, workshops, open gyms, competitions, progressive training programs, specialty events or an entirely different direction.

You won't be stepping into a finished program.

You'll help decide what the program becomes.

How does it work?

This is an independent contractor/business opportunity, not an employee position.

The exact structure will be developed with the right person based on what they want to build and how the program operates.

The opportunity is based at The Forum in Red Deer and requires regular in-person involvement.

For ten years, The Forum has been a place to learn, play, create, gather and build things that don't always fit somewhere else.

We have the space.

We have the equipment.

Now we're looking for the person who looks at it and thinks:

I know what I could do with that.

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
