Position: Snow Removal Equipment Operator

About the Position

Tri-Green Landscape Group is looking for reliable, safety-focused Snow Removal Equipment Operators to join our winter operations team. The successful candidates will operate snow removal equipment to safely and efficiently clear snow and ice from commercial properties, parking lots, walkways, and other designated areas.

This is a fast-paced, outdoor position that requires flexibility and availability during snow events, including overnight, early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

- Operate snow removal equipment including loaders, skid steers, tractors, snowplows, and other winter maintenance equipment.
- Safely and efficiently remove snow and ice from commercial properties, parking lots, entrances, and walkways.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and report equipment issues or maintenance requirements.
- Follow established snow removal routes, site plans, and operating procedures.
- Apply salt, sand, and other de-icing materials as required.
- Maintain awareness of pedestrians, vehicles, structures, curbs, landscaping, and other site hazards.
- Work safely in changing weather, road, and site conditions.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members during snow events.




- Maintain equipment in a clean and safe operating condition.
- Complete required paperwork, logs, and time records accurately.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional winter maintenance duties as required.

Qualifications

- Must have a Valid driver's licence and provide a 3-year uncertified driver’s abstract
- Will train however previous experience operating snow removal or heavy equipment will take priority
- Experience with loaders, tractors, skid steers plows, or similar equipment is preferred.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
- Reliable and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work extended and irregular hours during snow events.
- Ability to work outdoors in cold, snowy, and changing weather conditions.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be physically capable of performing the requirements of the position.

Schedule & Availability

Snow removal is weather-dependent. Operators must be available for on-call work during snow events, including evenings, overnight shifts, early mornings, weekends, and statutory holidays when required.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

- Snow Plowing Heavy Equipment Compact Tractor 4X4: 1 year (required)
- Plowing Commerical Residentual Parking Lots : 1 year (required)
