We are an award winning coffee roasters and coffee shop based in Qualicum Beach and Parksville.

We are seeking a passionate, skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in a commercial kitchen, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to follow recipes precisely to produce high-quality baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
Production: Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and icings for cakes, cookies and pastries, adhering to recipes and schedules.

Baking & Decorating: Operate industrial ovens and mixers, decorating finished products using pastry bags and tools.

Quality Control: Ensure all products meet quality, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper temperature management.

Inventory & Sanitization: Maintain ingredient inventory, manage waste reduction, and sanitize equipment such as mixers and ovens.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and assist with customer orders as needed.

Requirements
Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role.
Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment.
Strong knowledge of sanitation and food handling procedures.




Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays.

Preferred Skills
Creativity in developing recent recipes or decorating items.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Education required:

No formal education is required but prior experience is essential.
