Job Title: Shop Hand

Company Description: Armor Machine & Manufacturing Ltd, is a full service, turnkey machine shop that boasts over 75,000 sq feet of production space and over 40 years in industry. Armor Machine specializes in the machining of Oil & Gas components, ranging from small components to the largest parts the down hole drilling industry.

Introduction: Armor Machine is hiring a shop hand with the scope of performing general laborer duties as well as shop specific processes. This position will have long term opportunities to progress within the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Shop clean up. Emptying chip bins, garbage and sweeping floors.
- Applying different anticorrosion coatings such as phosphate.
- Perform industry specific grit blasting referred to as shot peening.
- Prepare shipments for delivery.




- Receive incoming material.
- Other duties will apply.

Qualifications:

- Must have a Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Ability to drive a Forklift and operate an overhead crane an asset
- Ability to lift 50lbs+
- Past Experience in warehousing considered an asset
- Ability to efficiently work independently as well as in a team
- Attention to detail

Shift: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
