Job Overview

- We are seeking a qualified Registered Massage Therapist to provide professional, client-centered massage therapy in a welcoming and respectful environment.
- The therapist will assess clients’ needs, develop appropriate treatment plans, and deliver services within the scope of their training and applicable professional standards.
- Applicants must hold current registration or licensure as required in the location of practice and maintain a commitment to client safety, privacy, and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

- Conduct client intake and discuss health history, goals, preferences, and any relevant contraindications before treatment.
- Assess client needs and create or adapt treatment plans based on their concerns and informed consent.
- Provide massage therapy using appropriate techniques while monitoring client comfort and response.
- Explain treatment options, session expectations, and aftercare recommendations in clear, accessible language.
- Maintain accurate, confidential client records and document assessments and treatments in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms, equipment, and linens before and after appointments.




- Deliver attentive customer service, respond professionally to client questions, and support a positive client experience.
- Communicate appropriately with clients and, when authorized, other healthcare providers.
- Follow workplace safety, hygiene, privacy, and professional practice standards.

Skills

- Current registration or licensure as a massage therapist, as required by the jurisdiction.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen carefully, explain treatment plans, and obtain informed consent.
- A client-focused approach and demonstrated customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, contraindications, and safe massage practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to document relevant information accurately.
- Sound judgment, attention to detail, discretion, and respect for client privacy.
- Ability to adapt techniques to individual needs while maintaining qualified boundaries.

Pay: $50.00-$78.00 per hour
