This part time Instructor appointment requires a PhD in Biological Sciences or a related discipline, or consideration as a senior doctoral candidate. The successful candidate will bring teaching and/or research experience in Biological Sciences, plus evidence of competent and effective undergraduate university teaching. Responsibilities include scheduled student contact, lecture preparation, student consultation, marking, grading, course administration, grade appeals, and academic dishonesty cases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach scheduled contact hours with undergraduate students
- Prepare lectures and consult with students




- Mark and grade student work
- Administer courses, including grade appeals
- Address academic dishonesty cases

Requirements:

- PhD in Biological Sciences or related discipline
- Senior doctoral candidates considered if necessary
- Experience teaching quantitative research methods
- Teaching or research experience in Biological Sciences
- Evidence of effective undergraduate university teaching
