Lead maintenance operations at Saputo’s Saskatoon Facility using industrial equipment expertise, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement strategies. Support 24/7 facility operations.
The Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Manager and maintains mechanical, electrical, computer-aided, and utility technologies. This position oversees equipment supporting manufacturing, packaging, storage, and shipping. The role also develops organizational relationships while addressing current and future technological developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach maintenance personnel through communication and feedback
- Maintain sanitation, refrigeration, packaging, and storage equipment
- Develop maintenance plans, budgets, schedules, and material requirements
- Ensure equipment repairs, safety procedures, and CMMS updates
- Coordinate projects with trades, vendors, and engineering
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or industrial technical certificate
- Five or more years in supervisory or management roles
- Preventive maintenance program and parts inventory experience
- Cost control, sourcing, and budget management experience
- Food industry or high-speed packaging experience
