Apply legal technology and AI expertise as a Legal Technology Lawyer supporting corporate or litigation practices in Montreal or Johannesburg. This non-practicing role is hands-on.

Fasken seeks a lawyer to accelerate practical adoption of AI solutions across legal workflows. You will provide training, coaching, live-matter support, and guidance on traditional legal technology tools. Working with Knowledge and Practice Innovation, Learning and Development, and the AI Learning Counsel, you will connect practice teams with innovation. The Montreal opening supports litigation, while Johannesburg supports corporate or litigation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead local adoption of legal AI solutions and technologies
- Attend practice meetings and address barriers to adoption
- Provide hands-on training, coaching,



and live-matter support
- Reinforce safe use standards and qualified judgment
- Identify use cases and inform broader implementation planning

Requirements:

- At least three years of corporate or litigation practice experience
- LLB, BCL, or J.D. required
- Good standing with the applicable provincial Law Society
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
- Interest in legal technology, innovation, and practical AI applications

Use legal experience, technological proficiency, and sound judgment to advance practical AI adoption across Fasken’s legal practices.
