The position performs diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic, and computerized imaging procedures. It combines patient preparation, RIS/PACS documentation, image quality checks, and radiation protection practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
- Operate computerized imaging equipment and process radiographs
- Prepare patients, explain examinations, and answer questions
- Maintain RIS/PACS records and archive digital images
- Monitor patient safety and equipment performance
Requirements:
- Certification with the CAMRT
- Advanced specialty program in Computed Tomography
- One year recent related radiology procedures experience
- Basic Life Support CPR certification
- Knowledge of PACS and Radiology Information Systems
