About Selkirk Copper Mines Inc.

Born from a bold vision and rooted in community, Selkirk Copper Mines Inc. (“Selkirk Copper”) represents a new era in Canadian mining. Established through the Selkirk First Nation’s historic purchase of the Minto Mine, we are redefining what it means to be an owner—not just a stakeholder—in resource development. Our foundation is grounded in land stewardship, long-term thinking, and respect for the land and people who call it home.

We are committed to responsible exploration and mining that creates enduring benefits. Our core values—integrity, sustainability, community, and innovation—guide every decision as we work toward a lasting legacy of economic opportunity and environmental care in the Yukon.

General Scope

We are seeking a self-directed Warehouse and Inventory Technician to oversee the receipt, storage, issuance and inventory control of parts, materials, tools and consumables at our Minto Mine site in the Yukon Territory.

As the site remains in care and maintenance and advances toward operational restart, this role is responsible for maintaining an organized, accurate, and efficient warehouse operation that supports ongoing maintenance activities and future site mobilization. The successful candidate will be highly organized, safety focused and ensure materials are properly received, identified, stored, and tracked within the inventory management system while maintaining accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Receiving and materials handling

- Prepare receiving and laydown areas for expected deliveries, and coordinate unloading equipment and assistance with the Site Supervisor and Procurement Specialist
- Check deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips for part numbers, quantities, units of measure, condition, and supporting documentation, and record partial deliveries accurately
- Photograph and report shortages, damage, and incorrect items; label and segregate material awaiting inspection or resolution, and retain evidence for supplier or carrier follow-up
- Record accepted site receipts in Procurify or the designated receiving system, attach documentation, and notify the requesting department when materials are available
- Put away and label stock promptly, keeping direct-charge and project materials identifiable by requester, department, equipment, or job reference

Warehouse and inventory control

- Maintain orderly shelving, bins, containers, and laydown areas, with accurate item identification and location records
- Record receipts, issues, returns, and transfers against the correct item, quantity, location, and work reference, and maintain accountability for tools and controlled supplies
- Complete scheduled stock checks and cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and submit supported corrections through the approved process
- Check existing stock before purchases are requested, monitor agreed replenishment levels, and advise Procurement of shortages, critical spares, and long-lead requirements
- Track repairables, warranty items, and cores, and prepare approved returns and outbound shipments
- Identify damaged, unidentified, or potentially surplus stock for review with Maintenance and Procurement, considering asset need, criticality, and lead time
- Assist with approved inventory sorting and movement while ensuring materials required for ongoing site work remain identifiable and accessible.
- Validate inventory master data, including manufacturer part numbers, item descriptions, units of measure, and bin locations, and document stock movements made during counting or warehouse reorganization.
- Support the handover of the new warehouse location structure, item data, and labels, and resolve transition issues so the new structure is ready for routine use.
- Use Procurify and the designated inventory system within assigned permissions, maintain supporting records in approved Microsoft 365 locations, and reconcile authorized temporary records during system transitions.
- Operate forklifts and other handling equipment within training and site authorization, applying safe lifting, load stability, pedestrian separation, and spotter requirements

Health & Safety

- Follow site safety procedures, complete task hazard assessments and equipment inspections, report hazards, incidents, and near misses, and stop work when conditions are unsafe
- Maintain clear aisles and emergency access, sound racking,

and safe storage, and follow working-alone, winter exposure, fatigue, spill response, and housekeeping controls
- Apply Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), safety data sheet, and hazardous-material storage requirements, and complete dangerous goods duties within the training and authorization required for the shipment

Coordination and Communication

- Work with Procurement, Maintenance, and site departments to confirm material priorities, prepare for deliveries, and resolve stock discrepancies, escalating urgent material issues promptly
- Provide clear shift and rotation handovers covering outstanding receipts, shortages, quarantined items, returns, and follow-up actions

Qualifications & Experience

- Relevant warehouse, industrial stores, parts, or inventory experience
- Mining or remote-site experience an asset
- Practical knowledge of receiving, storage, stock issuing, and counting
- Familiarity with maintenance parts and manufacturer part numbers preferred
- Comfortable using inventory or purchasing software, including Procurify or a comparable system, as well as Excel, email, and shared documents; able to learn new systems as required.

- Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records
- Reliable communication and strong attention to detail
