Accounting / Financial Analyst

Northway Pharmacy is a growing group of 16 pharmacy and 5 medical clinic locations, supported by a centralized multidisciplinary team. We’re looking for an Accounting / Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and play an important role in supporting the financial operations of our growing organization.

Reporting to the Accounting & Finance Manager, you’ll work across a variety of accounting, financial reporting, reconciliation, budgeting, and administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with 3+ years of experience who enjoys working with numbers, analyzing information, solving problems, and being part of a collaborative team.

You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting and finance functions while working closely with experienced Finance leaders and contributing to projects that support continuous improvement and organizational growth.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare and support accurate in-house financial statements and related accounting activities
- Complete journal entries, payables, reconciliations, and account maintenance
- Perform bank, sales, credit card, account, and supplier reconciliations
- Assist with GST/PST remittances and other accounting requirements
- Assist with monthly and annual budgets, reports, and financial forecasts
- Play an important role in the year-end review process with external accountants
- Assist with managing third-party vendors
- Provide backup support to other Finance team members
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide additional accounting and administrative support as directed by the Accounting & Finance Manager and CFO

What You Bring

- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel




- Experience with or exposure to Sage 50 is a definite asset
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities
- Positive, collaborative approach and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
