Job Summary

- We are seeking a customer-focused retail window covering specialist to help customers select, design, and purchase window treatments for their homes and businesses.
- The role combines retail sales, inside sales, and outside sales, with responsibilities spanning customer service, product demonstrations, design support, and account management.
- You’ll learn about window covering products and options, understand customers’ needs and project requirements, and recommend solutions that suit their style and space.
- Experience in high-end sales, renovation, or construction is helpful but not required. English proficiency is required; multilingual skills are a plus.

Duties

- Welcome customers, provide attentive customer service, and guide them through product selection.
- Ask questions to understand customers’ goals, measurements, design preferences, and project timelines.
- Explain product features and options, conduct product demos, and recommend suitable solutions.
- Prepare estimates, process transactions using a POS system, and perform cashiering and cash handling accurately.
- Support inside sales in the showroom and outside sales through customer visits or project consultations, as needed.
- Follow up with prospective and existing customers, maintain records, and provide ongoing account management.




- Use upselling and negotiation skills appropriately to help customers identify options that meet their needs.
- Assist with showroom merchandising, product displays, and marketing activities.
- Coordinate project details and communicate with customers, vendors, and installation or renovation teams.
- Keep customer information, orders, and project documentation organized and accurate.

Skills

- Strong communication skills, active listening, and a professional, helpful approach.
- Retail sales or other sales experience; experience with high-end sales is a plus.
- Comfort with customer service, product demos, upselling, and negotiation.
- Basic math skills for measurements, estimates, and transaction accuracy.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Interest or experience in window coverings, interior design, renovation, or construction.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, CAD, or similar design tools is a plus.
- Experience with inside sales, outside sales, account management, marketing, or merchandising is beneficial.
- English proficiency; multilingual abilities are an advantage.

Pay: $15.00-$27.47 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 30.0 per week
