L.E. Steel Fabricators is a custom fabrication shop specializing in engineered structural steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel products and components. Our work supports a wide range of industries, including pile driving, large civil and infrastructure, and the movie industry.

We’re looking for Welders and Fabricators to join our team at our shop in Langley, BC near 267th Street.

You won’t be stuck doing the same job day after day. You’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging fabrication projects and see the results of your work take shape right in the shop. As a Welder, you will:

- Review shop drawings and determine the most efficient sequence of welding tasks
- Develop a strong understanding of the products and components we fabricate
- Use a variety of welding techniques to assemble and fit metal sections and plates into complete units or subunits
- Weld fabricated components as part of the final product
- Work closely with Fabricators and other team members to keep projects moving safely and efficiently

As a Fabricator, you will:

- Fabricate, assemble, fit, and install steel components for a variety of specialty projects
- Review drawings to determine material requirements and plan the most efficient sequence of work
- Construct patterns and templates to guide layouts
- Lay out reference points and patterns on heavy metal based on component specifications
- Assemble and fit metal sections and plates using tack welding, bolting, riveting, or other methods
- Set up and operate heavy-duty metalworking equipment to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, and shape components




- Install fabricated components into the final product

For both positions, we’re looking for someone who:

- Has experience reading shop drawings and understands weld sizes
- Brings practical, hands-on knowledge of the trade
- Takes pride in producing accurate, quality work
- Has strong attention to detail
- Is self-motivated and dependable
- Works well as part of a team
- Is willing and able to work overtime when required to meet project deadlines

Welder Qualifications

- Previous welding experience
- A good understanding of welding techniques and procedures
- Experience in the steel fabrication industry
- CWB certification is an asset, but is not required

Fabricator Qualifications

- The welding knowledge and experience outlined above
- 2+ years of fabrication experience
- Red Seal Fabricator certification is preferred

This is an open-shop workplace, with overtime handled in accordance with applicable Employment Standards requirements.

Our shifts are:

- Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
