We are currently seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) for contract opportunities with Western NLHS.
Position Overview
Augury Healthcare is accepting applications from qualified Nurse Practitioners for contract assignments in various healthcare settings and provinces across Canada. Opportunities may include long-term care, primary care, community healthcare, rural healthcare, and other clinical settings.
Assignment locations, schedules, compensation, and requirements will vary depending on the position and province.
Candidates must be available for the full duration of the assignment.

Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Active and valid Nurse Practitioner license/registration applicable to the province of practice
- Valid BLS certification
- Valid ACLS certification
- Availability for the full duration of the assignment
- Relevant clinical experience
- Ability to meet applicable provincial regulatory and healthcare facility requirements
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- EPIC proficiency is considered an asset for applicable assignments
Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner will provide advanced clinical care within the assigned setting. Duties may include:
- Conducting patient assessments and developing care plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health conditions
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Prescribing medications and treatments within scope of practice
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team
- Supporting continuity of care for patients, residents, and families
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Providing care in accordance with applicable provincial standards and scope of practice
