Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers while ensuring exceptional service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and exchange floor mats at customer locations in a timely and qualified manner
- Load, unload, and install mats at customer sites
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures and reporting discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required when loading or unloading products.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in commercial driving, with a valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record
- Familiarity with moving logistics and best practices for safe transportation of goods.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to ergonomic standards.
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Training
- Four weeks training provided at $20 / hour. Following successful training, wage increases.
