Alivia Medical Inc. is looking for reliable, compassionate, and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to provide nursing care at private schools throughout the GTA.

We are seeking nurses who enjoy working with children and adolescents and are interested in flexible, part-time or casual opportunities during school hours.

Successful candidates will provide nursing care to students, respond to medical concerns and emergencies, and work closely with school staff and parents to promote a safe and healthy school environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN or RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in valuable standing
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience providing health education and promoting student wellness
- Ability to work independently and make appropriate clinical decisions within professional scope of practice




- Experience working in a school setting or with children and adolescents is an asset
- Flexible availability for weekday shifts and occasional last-minute coverage

Responsibilities

- Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, health assessments, and treatment of illnesses and injuries within professional scope of practice
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Administer medications and manage student health needs according to school policies and care plans
- Support students with chronic health conditions, allergies, and other medical needs
- Provide education and training to school staff on anaphylaxis response, EpiPen administration, concussion management, and other health-related topics
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student assessments, treatments, and medical incidents
- Communicate effectively with parents, school administrators, and staff regarding student health concerns
- Promote health, safety, and wellness throughout the school community
- Perform other nursing-related duties as assigned.

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 24.0 per week
