Job Summary

Scarolies pasta emporium are seeking an experienced, hands Head Chef with a minimum 10 years experience in an high volume Italian restaurant. to lead kitchen operations and deliver high-quality food This role oversees food preparation, kitchen and team performance , you will be working along the side of another head chef .The ideal candidate will be given the recipes of the restaurant and will have to execute them daily to perfection .this individual must have capability to follow recipes 100%.this is the secret to Scarolies Pasta Emporium success for over 28 years in business.

Duties

- Lead, supervise, and support kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, coordinating service, and providing coaching.
- Plan and oversee daily food preparation, cooking, plating, and service to ensure consistent quality and timely execution.
- Maintain kitchen workflows, organize prep schedules,
- Monitor inventory, inspect deliveries, manage storage, and help control food waste.
- Follow and enforce food safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen in accordance with applicable standards.




- Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and improvements to kitchen processes.
- Address service issues professionally and help maintain a positive guest experience.
- Coordinate with serving and bartending staff as needed to support smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in a professional kitchen, restaurant, or food industry setting.
- Supervising experience and the ability to lead, coach, and manage a team.
- Solid skills in food preparation and cooking, with an understanding of food safety and proper food handling.
- Food service experience and familiarity with restaurant operations and hospitality standards.
- Effective communication, organization, and decision-making skills, especially during busy service periods.
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen, serving, and bartending teams.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
