Applicants must reside in Edmonton area and have reliable personal transportation. Remote work is permitted, with occasional in-person meetings and site visits.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Administration

2. Project Execution & Management
- Convert management objectives into practical action plans with clear deadlines and deliverables.
- Personally execute assigned tasks,
engaging contractors or external professionals when required.
- Research options, obtain and compare quotations, track budgets, and maintain project records.
- Identify problems, develop practical solutions, and follow assignments through to completion.
3. Real Estate Operations
- Handle routine operational and administrative matters involving commercial, residential, and development properties.
- Identify and source contractors and service providers, obtain and compare quotations, and arrange required maintenance, repairs, inspections, and other services.
- Maintain records of contractors, service providers, outstanding work, commitments, and deadlines; follow up to ensure work is completed satisfactorily.
- Liaise with property managers, tenants, contractors, and service providers to resolve operational matters, escalating significant decisions requiring management approval.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes
- Independent and task-focused: Comfortable working alone, managing priorities, and completing assignments with minimal supervision.
- Organized and analytical: Strong attention to detail, practical problem-solving abilities, and consistent follow-through.
- Communication and professionalism: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English, sound judgment,
discretion, and confidentiality.
- Technically proficient: Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and task-management applications.
Previous administrative, project coordination, or business operations experience is an asset. Real estate, property management, or construction experience is beneficial but not required.
Reporting & Accountability
- Participate in two structured video meetings weekly, with cameras on, to establish priorities and review progress.
- Maintain accurate task lists, project records, deadlines, contractor and service-provider commitments, and time allocations.
