Forklift Operator – Automotive ManufacturingJob Summary

Safely operate forklifts to transport, stack, and organize metal bins containing automotive parts and materials, ensuring efficient production flow and secure warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Move, stack, and store metal bins in designated areas.
- Supply metal bins and materials to production lines as required.
- Load and unload trucks and transport finished automotive components.
- Verify bin labels, part numbers, and quantities for inventory accuracy.
- Follow FIFO procedures and maintain proper material flow.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and complete required documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

- Valid forklift certification.




- 4–5 years of manufacturing or automotive industry experience.
- Experience handling and stacking metal bins.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Knowledge of forklift safety and material-handling procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Woodbridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- stacking metal bins: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
