Design municipal roads and infrastructure for the City of Burlington through detailed drawings, grading models, and technical coordination in a hybrid work model.

As a Senior Design Technician, you will support Engineering Services projects involving roads, storm sewers, sidewalks, and active transportation. You will process survey data, prepare design packages, and coordinate information from departments, utilities, consultants, and agencies. Your work supports construction, approvals, capital planning, and long-term asset performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce municipal road and infrastructure designs meeting applicable standards
- Create surface models, alignments, profiles, and cross-sections
- Prepare tender drawings, quantity schedules, and technical documentation




- Conduct site visits and assist with construction design issues
- Respond to stakeholder comments and coordinate design revisions

Requirements:

- Three-year Civil Engineering College Diploma
- Minimum five years of relevant experience, preferably municipal
- Proficiency using AutoCAD, LDDT, and ArcView
- CET designation through OACETT is an asset
- Own transportation for occasional travel between sites
