As a Senior Associate on Ciena’s Emergency Response Team, you will troubleshoot complex production incidents and coordinate restoration. The work focuses on optical transport networks, incident ownership, customer communication, and structured technical documentation. You will support the 6500, RLS, and Waveserver platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Severity 1 and Severity 2 incident recovery
- Analyze alarms, logs, performance data, and topology information
- Execute recovery strategies and restore customer services
- Communicate findings, progress, and next steps to customers




- Prepare root cause analysis and technical documentation

Requirements:

- Four or more years in optical transport or network engineering
