Title: Security Guard

Employment Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.35 - $24.00 per hour (varies by site)

Site: Various Sites in GTA (Toronto, North York, Scarborough)

Schedule: Various hours (Continental, rotating shifts)

Site Overview

This role supports a variety of key client locations across the Greater Toronto Area, including healthcare facilities, commercial and retail properties, and post-secondary educational campuses.

What You'll Be Doing

- Provide continuous patient watch and observation for individuals requiring dedicated supervision due to medical or behavioral concerns, promptly reporting changes to medical staff.

- Conduct regular patrols of client premises, including parking facilities, hallways, entrances, and exits.

- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, acting quickly to report any suspicious activity.

- Control entry points to secure areas to ensure only authorized personnel have access.

- Respond promptly to operational emergencies, including fire alarms, security threats, and medical calls.

- Deliver helpful customer service when greeting and assisting visitors, patients, and staff.

- De-escalate tense situations and resolve conflicts calmly and professionally.

- Complete clear daily activity logs and accurate incident reports.

- Enforce client site rules and visitor policies consistently.

Must Haves

- Valid Ontario Security License.

- Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification from a WSIB-approved vendor.

- Valid G class Driver's License.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

- Fluency in spoken and written English.

- Legal authorization to work in Canada.

- Immunization records for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, COVID-19 (double vaccinated), and a two-step TB skin test (support is available during onboarding if you need to update these).

- Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certifications,



or willingness to complete free training prior to onboarding with a 6-month commitment.
