Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Tradesman/woman to support construction, repair, installation, and restoration projects. The role involves working with a team to complete quality work safely, accurately, and on schedule. Candidates should bring practical trade experience, sound judgment, and a willingness to take on varied tasks across job sites.

Responsibilities

- Review project plans, blueprints, and schematics to understand work requirements and measurements.
- Perform general construction, carpentry, repair, and restoration tasks.
- Build and install forms for concrete work; assist with pouring and finishing concrete.
- Complete drywall installation and repairs, caulking, construction painting, and surface preparation.
- Install cabinets, flooring, and tile according to project specifications.
- Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks appropriate to training and qualifications.
- Perform masonry and welding tasks when required and qualified.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and appropriately.
- Help assess project scope, materials,



and labor needs to support construction estimating.
- Maintain an organized work area, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with coworkers and other trades.

Skills

- Construction experience and practical knowledge of job-site safety.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: concrete forming, concrete finishing, carpentry, drywall, caulking, restoration, cabinet installation, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying.
- Heavy equipment operation experience is an asset.
- Construction estimating experience is an asset.
- Robust attention to detail, problem-solving ability, reliability, and teamwork.
- Ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing project needs.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
