Our Luxury men’s clothing boutique, located in Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York, is looking for an organized, dependable and detail-oriented Retail Operations & Sales Support Associate to join our team.

This position is primarily focused on operating our point-of-sale (POS) system, processing all customer purchases, receiving merchandise into the system and handling daily store administration, with sales support when required.

The ideal candidate enjoys the operational side of retail, is confident working with computer systems and numbers, and takes pride in keeping everything accurate and organized. You should also be comfortable assisting customers on the sales floor and providing the welcoming, professional service our boutique is known for.

Key Responsibilities

- POS and checkout: Process all customer purchases and payments accurately, issue receipts and provide a smooth, professional checkout experience.
- Inventory receiving: Check incoming merchandise against packing slips, enter products and quantities into the POS system, maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies.
- Store administration: Handle daily administrative tasks, including filing, record-keeping and organizing sales, inventory and receiving documentation.
- Daily reconciliation: Complete cash balancing and end-of-day POS reconciliation, ensuring records are accurate and discrepancies are reported promptly.
- Sales support:



Assist customers with product selection and purchases when required, supporting the sales team during busy periods.

What We’re Looking For

- A minimum of two years of retail experience, with hands-on experience using POS systems and processing customer payments.
- Experience with inventory receiving and retail administration, along with strong computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately.
- A dependable, professional and friendly approach, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Experience in menswear or fashion retail is preferred. Knowledge of suiting, formalwear and made-to-measure is an asset, but the main focus of this position is retail operations and administration rather than dedicated sales.

Schedule

Applicants must have a flexible schedule and be available to work weekends. Must be a Canadian Citizen and live in the GTA.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
