Job Overview

Well-established medium-sized, privately owned group practice seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist/Treatment Co-Ordinator to join our busy dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office administration, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with dental software systems. This role is vital in providing exceptional patient service, managing appointments, and ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk. Candidates must have at least 4 years previous experience in a dental office within Canada. Applicants with only medical office or foreign dental office experience will not be considered.

**Our office works at a very fast pace - you will NEVER be bored! We have many long term staff (in all departments) and a very established loyal patient base. The office is privately owned with no plans to ever go corporate and we have a patient-centered approach to dentistry. What we are looking for is that unicorn administrator - the one who loves dental, understands the need for systems and protocols and has the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. And has a sense of humour - maybe we should have mentioned that first.

If you like checking insurance, entering insurance details (not just the percentages), treatment planning including creating planned appointments, collecting patient balances, and care about the overall patient experience: WE WANT YOU!

If you take pride in getting pre-authorizations approved on the very first try: WE WANT YOU!

If you love coming to work everyday to bask in an environment of positivity: WE WANT YOU!

If you love having a boss who cares, who will never open on Sundays, who closes the office between Christmas and New Years as well as all long-weekends: WE WANT YOU!

If, however, you are just looking for a job till you find the next one, if you have no inkling of dependibility, if you thrive on gossip or drama, or have zero interest in making an effort to learn or improve your skills: WE DON'T WANT YOU....

seriously - nope.
