Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mold Spotter to join our team. Steady Afternoon shift with a $2.00 afternoon shift premium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the spotting of parting lines and components.

This role requires strong attention to detail, precision, and a deep understanding of mold-making techniques, materials, and equipment, with a focus on the spotting of mold components (slides, lifters, inserts) and Parting lines.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

·Utilize hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring tools to make, fit, assemble or repair molds and mold components.

·Ensure parting lines are spotted correctly to prevent flash and ensure proper sealing.

·Collaborate with coworkers to ensure best practices are being used and followed.

·Perform mold maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs when necessary.

·Ensure all molds comply with safety, quality, customer and Nextgen standards.

·Maintain and follow detailed checklists and procedures for steps throughout the Mold build process.





·Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.

·Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

·Minimum of 1 years' experience as a Mold Maker

·Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Mold Spotter

·Experience in spotting mold components, slides, lifters, inserts and parting lines.

·Solid mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

·Technical degree or certification in mold making or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

·Language of work: English
