Our client is a well-established, manufacturing company is looking for a Metal Forming Machine Operator to join their team in Mississauga. This is a great opportunity to work with a passionate team in a clean, modern facility.

Note this position will be relocating to Vaughn by the end of year/2027.

Your Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Metal Forming

- Set up and operate plate rolling and other metal-forming machinery to bend, roll, form, and
- straighten materials according to required specifications.
- Adjust machine settings, rollers, and positioning to achieve accurate dimensions and desired shapes.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Perform layout, measuring, and marking of materials according to job requirements.
- Identify and correct issues during the forming process to maintain product quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions.
- Verify material dimensions, thickness, and specifications before processing.
- Prepare and position materials for rolling and forming operations.
- Operate saws, grinders, drills, and bevelling equipment as required.
- Safely handle and transport materials using appropriate lifting and material-handling equipment.
- Inspect formed components to ensure compliance with required dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Use measuring tools and equipment to verify accuracy throughout the forming process.
- Identify and report material defects, equipment issues, or inconsistencies.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, roller setup, adjustments, and basic preventive maintenance.
- Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance requirements to the appropriate supervisor.




- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Our Offer

- Hourly wage: $21-23 per hour
- Full time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday, dayshift
- Weekly pay via direct deposit
- Benefits package after 3 months

Our Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or trade training preferred.

· Previous experience operating plate rolling or other metal-forming machinery.

· Experience working in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

· Knowledge of metal-forming processes, machine setup, and material handling.

· Experience working with stainless steel considered an asset.

· Familiarity with measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.

· Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Strong communication and organizational skills.

· Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle materials within the physical requirements of the position.
