Job Opportunity: Red Seal Machinist

JP Machine Works Ltd. is seeking a qualified, full time Red Seal Machinist for an immediate start at our shop in Williams Lake, BC.

Position Overview:

Red Seal Manual Machinist

Wage: $40.00 – $48.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Full-time)
Location: 3-1125 South Lakeside Dr, Williams Lake, BC

What you will do: No day will be like the last. We have a large stable of customers that bring in different jobs each day. This means being versatile and being able to adapt to any job is a requirement. From hydraulics to water pumps, and all means of custom machining, you will never have to sit on a production line doing the same parts day in, day out.

Core Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain machine shop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Recreate parts and produce drawings directly from sample components.
- Disassemble mechanical assemblies and equipment components to diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Document and inspect parts, pre and post machining.

Position Requirements:

- Red Seal Machinist designation,



3rd or 4th year apprentice’s will be considered based on experience
- Must be competent with manual machines, lathes, mills, and drills.
- Have an attention to detail
- Must successfully pass mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with proven experience in any of the following specialized areas will receive priority consideration

- Hydraulic cylinder repair
- Mobile line boring
- CNC programming and operation
- Welding and fabrication

Wages & Benefits:

Competitive Wages: $40.00 – $48.00 per hour.
