Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dock Team Lead for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Etobicoke, ON. This role is ideal for a hands-on logistics professional with strong dock operations experience, proven team leadership skills, and current Counterbalance and Reach certification.

As the Dock Team Lead, you will work directly alongside the dock team to ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded on time, picking and receiving are completed accurately, and daily floor operations run safely and efficiently. You will support the Dock Supervisor with training, workflow coordination, issue resolution, safety checks, and day-to-day team needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support daily dock operations,



including loading, unloading, picking, receiving, and shipment flow.
- Train new floor staff and retrain existing team members on proper processes, safety practices, and operational standards.
- Work alongside the team to ensure tasks are completed accurately, safely, and on time.
- Assist with issue resolution on the floor, including expediting shipments and communicating with internal teams or customers when needed.
- Complete and support safety activities, including daily safety checklists, weekly forklift inspection audits, and incident reporting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting housekeeping and facility inspection requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $24.00 per hour.
